Recently I just learned the true way of smashing and adjusted my gameplay from netshots to smashing. I had my AT700 strung at 25lbs with bg80. Now it seems like 20lbs and my netshots dont have the same feel i got when it was 25 T ^ T. Im planning on cutting them soon as soon as i get my Woven8 this friday but i dont know which string is good and holds tension well. Ive only used BG80 and BG65 before so i have limited knowledge about strings. Alot of people have different opinions but i just wanna see a majority before i give to away for stringing ^^. Also i want a good string like BG80, 85, 68ti, 66ti?

A lost of 5 lbs in tension??? How long you've been use this string? I've used BG80 for the past 4-5 months, and never experienced significant tension lost. I usually string mine @ 23lb, and the string can last me about 2-3 week before snapping.

Maybe the original string job was not too good or it's been a long time since it was strung. But, BG-80 shouldn't lose 5lbs. of tension.

Both BG-80 and 85 hold tension very well, in general.

Maybe the stringer did not pre-stretch the string, and not using a consistent pulling machine. But still, 5lbs???

I've found that BG-85 and 80 don't really need much pre-stretching. But like you said, 5lbs.?! ...:p

    SSSSSHHH!!! I'm hunting wabbits!

Anyway.. I use predominantly BG85 so far.. it holds tension very well. I've never noted significant losses in tension over 6 months.

Well im not exactly sure its 20 but it definately has less tension than my friends ISO which he had strung at 22lb with i think BG65 which he hardly used. Ive only used the string for a month T ^ T.
O yea~~~ stop making fun of my name T ^ T im just good with rabbits! and im CarrotLegs not a chopstick or a drumstick or a hybrid between them!
