Well first, i just bought a AT500 about one month ago with bg65 strung at 20lbs (yet i asked for 24lbs... ). I started playing with it and it was good:cool: but in 3-4 weeks of playing like once a week my bg65 strings are already fraying and ripping:( . After another day of playing, it was ripping in a total of 3 places all at the top frame of my racket. i really wonder if my racket or strings are the problem or maybe even the stringer :( . And on my strings it says Yonex BG 65 and i know my At500 is genuine from posting my serial number here ^.^ . Are bg65 even suppose to rip in a month already? Isnt it suppose to last you about a year? Thanx for the help guys:D

Even though BG65 is known for durability, but how long it will last, really depend on the actual usage / storage by users:

    1. Are you a hard hitter?

    2. Do you use slice shot a lot?

    3. Do you tend to use the racket to pick up shuttles from the floor?

    4. Do you tend to mis hit (miss the sweet spot)?

    5. Do you ever storage the racket/string in harsh environmental condition (hot, dry or cold weather...)
