I would say that you could string the BG80 1lb lower than the BG65 to get the same "stiffness", as the high repulsion of it will compensate for the tension decrease, however, if you could harness the strings at the same tension, then a small power increase is available.

On another note, the thinner strings mean that the strings tend to move a lot more than the BG65, even after I allowed them to 'set' for about 30+hrs (more than I normally do with the BG65). After a few hits, the tend to move less, which is alright I guess

it really depends on user's preference. for example, i prefer bg80>bg65 but really hard hitters would prefer bg65>bg80 since its much more durable. i believe its better for you to try it yourself to see which one suits you more.

LOL.. a 0.66mm string is the more durable I would agree you typed something wrong.

BG-65 is 0.70 mm and BG-66 is 0.66 mm so BG-65 is way more durable.

    Agreed...the bg-66 is 0.66mm...so the bg-0.65 is more durable.

Im currently using Nanogy 95 and I think it is a great allround string, good power, good control, good durability, nice sound. The only downside is the price...

What racket r u using for this string...? What the tension...? i heard from the yonex seller said that the tension must be more than 24lbs, then only you can see the advantage... is it true...?
