I know this is off topic but is the MP 100 more head heavy than the Armortec 700?

That's a good question.
*thinks long and hard about MP100 and AT700*
My only guess is that the MP100 is more manoeuvrable than the AT700. As much as a head heavy racket is good for smashing, you need to do other things too, making the more balanced MP100 preferable to the AT700. There's probably another reason but that's the best I can come up with.

My son has BG66 on his carb 21 @21#s...nice sound and power. I have arc10 with NGY95 @ 27/29#s, and has the same great sound when smashing, but more power.

my coach said. the difference between these strings are the radius....the smaller it is...the better it bounce...which means better smash. however less durable...for example: bg 85. and the bigger it is...the slower it is and less bounce...however more durable. for example bg 65.....
my coach also said...the difference between bg 65 and the most expensive strings are not that big. the tension matters more....
for people who have GREAT knowledge on strings...please teach me....or tell me....what strings i should get for a flex racket and my mp100. THANK VERY MUCH!!!!!!!Last edited by chriz; 04-02-2009 at 05:50 PM.

personally..i got a mp 100.....mp 100 is definitely...definitely...not for singles. i have been playing it for 2 years....horrible defense. .....AT 700 is probably 1 of the best single rackets...out there....they cant really compare with each other....they are 2 different type of rackets....

The NBG98s amazing, without a doubt the best string for a offensive player, ofcourse it's very expensive, but in Japan you can get them for just a little more than the NBG95. I got a 30 or a 60 meter roll of NBG98, I broke the string once in 3 months. The only thing that the NBG is not so good at is the feel. Hitting the bird slowly makes the strings feel dead, hard to get the right amount of power for dropshots.
