hey thanks for reply.....how come its so cheap? Is it not less then invoice price for retailers? Stores like badmintonalley is selling it for $220.

Also he say it is made in japan. Is the JP racket better then US?

SUMAI03 does not sell JP coded rackets, he sells TH coded rackets & hence they are cheap.

The TH/US/JP/SP etc are just distribution codes. All the top yonex models are made in JP, and suppose to have same quality as claimed by Yonex.

However, in US market, Yonex USA only honors US coded racket with 1 year warranty for racket breakage due to manufacture defects (not for clash or bad string job, etc). Therefore, buying oversea taking a bit risk for possible duty tax / shipping / exchange / warranty concerns.

    Ships from Thailand

He most likely will ship from Thailand also. Which means it will take about 2 weeks for delivery. Someone I know bought from him too and it broke after a slight racquet clash, hardly a hit but it broke. Not sure what Sumai can do about it though.
    Racquet was authentic.

I guess the important thing is tradeoff between warranty and being cheap. Does the rackets really break without any clash or withouth falling down on ground due to manufactcuring defect. In case like Xuser's friend if it breaks after a slight minor clash will Yonex usa honor their warrantly and replace the racket?

No, Yonex USA will not replace the racket bought from Thailand.
& as far as the 'breakage' is concerned, it depends on how you use/mis-use your racket on & off the court !!

Sorry I was asking if I buy US coded racket and if the racket breaks due to minor clash (it shouldnt really break due to minor clash) then will Yonex USA replace it considering it a manufacturing defect?

If the racket is determined to be defective, then they will replace it. Other than that, it's void.
