Not sure which folder to post this question...

Anyone know what speed shuttles are ideal for Hyderabad, India (in summer)? 75? will 76 be too fast? Thanks!

(Summer weather is like 35-42C temps, very dry (low humidity) and the city is approx 450m(?,1500ft)above sea level, if anyone wants to take a guess at what speed may work)

Thanks for the info Cooler! I never played there. Will be visiting this summer and was wondering if I could play and whether the shuttles I have here in the US can be used there or not...

The weather in Hyderabad is very dry for most part of the year (Feb thru july). July to september is gonna be rainy, not necessary its going to rain. October thru Jan/Feb is gonna be pleasant. Since you would be playing indoors, its gonna be humid all the time.

So if ur gonna use Yonex Aerosensa, then it would be advisable to use AS-2 available in india only as far as my knowledge goes. Or if ur gonna get ur own shuttles then AS-20/30 or TaiLai from China. Generally AS-10/20/30/40/50 are used internationally. The AS-2 are available in Hyderabad for Rs.800 per barrel/tube.

PS: I know this reply is irrelevant, since u might have come and gone by now. Wanted to share the information, incase some one else might be planning a visit though.
