Congrats to NYCB and the sport itself! This is a big victory for badminton in east coast as well as in North America.
Nice to get some recognition. If they added one more line on people welcome to drop by and just have a look, that would have been perfect.
Haha, excellent! Chibing's training sessions are pretty rigorous. It's funny to see all those players that I know in the news. Chibing Wu and Andy Chong played together at the Boston Open, they were fun to watch. G
Yeah, this pair dominates the MD event on east coast for quite a few years. I was watching Boston Open 2003 finals DVD the other day. Quite a match for them to against the CAN pair.
Please show some respect to all the players, regardless what's the result is. There's only 1 champion, but everyone is a winner. This tourny is an open flight format, means everyone plays together. Andy and Chibing are 40+, and they had to fight their way through against ppl who are not half of their ages. Never had to say, they got a tough draw to face the curret WC champion in earlier round.
Lol He meant a duo from California (CA) not from Canada! And how can anyone say Chibing Wu and Andy Chong suck when they are old enough to be playing in the senior division when they were already deep in the Open division battling it out with guys in their prime. These two guys are well respected coaches and have produced many tournament level players. Even the best players in the world like Lin Dan has a coach and it doesn't mean his coach has to beat him just to prove he doesn't suck. If Chibing and Andy were in their prime. The results would be quite the contrary.
hahaha, ok. It was LB's fault ya, one should take account of age. Best players don't and can't make best coaches, IMO.
Not my fault man... I was the 1st one defending Chibing and Andy. :crying: YiYiLiLi was the one talking about they lost to CA pair...
guest fee / annual or monthly fees what are the monthly [or yearly] membership fees to join nycb? how about a one day guest fee for visitors?
