Greetings,
Just wanted to make sure I posted my update in the main HK shops discussion. SHort story Emmy Sports is a small shop where the boss whole attidude changes once you want to bargain. Prices for my MP 88 were nothing special either. Will definitely try out another shop in future.

I'm going to revive this old thread to ask my question. Which stores in Hong Kong sell stringing machines?

I just went to Rose. I think their service is decent. Nothing wrong with it. I was looking at some rackets through the window and a staff came up to me and helped me. She asked me about my game (single or doubles) and style, and then she made some recommendations. I then tried on some shoes. Everything was fine.
BTW, I bought a racket from them. I never heard of the brand; it's JSPEE (i think it's from Taiwan). It felt good though (I haven't played with it yet; I'll let you guys know later). I couldn't really find much on the internet except one in Indonesia's badminton discussion forum (unfortunately, the discussion wasn't about that brand).

BTW, I bought a racket from them. I never heard of the brand; it's JSPEE (i think it's from Taiwan). It has a good feel to it though (I haven't played with it yet; I'll let you guys know later). The model number is 88000; I believe it is a different version of Yonex 900 Technique (which I like but the head is heavier than I like but this racket's weight distribution seems to be closer to my liking). I couldn't really find much on the internet except one in Indonesia's badminton discussion forum (unfortunately, the discussion wasn't about that brand). Anyone knows about this brand?

I went to Rose a few times and the service was good, even managed to get a free overwrap for buying a badminton racket. They also do restring very efficiently, basically order my racket in around noon and got it strung in the evening. it's really cool. I guess the service must have improved

Hey yeeyee, I would like to ask for an average range of prices, if you recall, for Yonex rackets such as the MP100, MP99, NS9900, ARC7/10, or AT900? Thank you very much.

are those shops still there?
I'll be back in HK in July for a few days then heading to China, since Im not bringing my badminton gear, i need to stock up on my regular equipment
from the HK members here, which shops carry the largest Yonex range/size for clothing/shoes/rackets with prices around the lower end?
also i need to buy some shuttlecocks both for play and prolly a box to ship back to Canada, any recommendations? i usually play with RSL classic tourney but anything similar is fine as long as the price is right ^^

I'm afraid i dont recall the price for those rackets you mention because i was only interested in the ArcSaber 9 for women.. hehe. Anyway, the rackets you buy from HK will definately be cheaper than UK, but I'm not sure about how it compares to the U.S or canada

Hey Vincent Ting,
Can I still quote your name, does it still work to get discount? Was just wondering since it's been a while since you posted your last message up here.
