can strings with titanium mesh be put into any type of rackets? has anyone heard about muscle power 29 light? pls tell me the specs..
Titanium strings such as yonex can be put on most rackets.......Alot of people say that the MP series yonex work best with this string. MP29 light..............must be the new MP28.......previously that was called the MP27........but different color. Strange how they did that.
This is true but i know of many people who use the ti strings on many different rackets. Non 'ti' and non 'mp' rackets. I am thinking of trying them on my ns8k........but heard they are slippery and do not grip te shuttle like other strings.
Be it the string or the racket or the combo, that's all personal preference. As long as the combo works well for you, why not?
I use the Yonex Ti65 strung at 25lbs, it works great for me. As previously mentioned, its a little slippery because of the titanium. That took me a week or so to getting used to, but once I was used to it I had no problem in terms of control and precision. It doesn't sound as nice as BG80 or BG85 but its got its own sweet sound. I'll be upgrading to the Ti68 soon.
Oh yeah, I use my Tactic TG-65ti string on my Kason Carvel U3 at 30/32 lbs tension and the performance was great. The power was super and the sound was just music to my ears. Ti string can be used on any racket, higher tension is better, less movement of the string.
I agree. Higher tension is better for Ti strings up the point the individual's elbow can take it . Just curious . . . Did the stringer use a constant-pull machine?
hmmm on the topic of stringing machines... is there a difference in a tennis stringing machine and a badminton stringing machine?
For most of crank and electric tennis machines, they can string both kind of racquet. You might need an adaptor to hold badminton racquet and fly clamp to clamp badminton string. However, for drop weight machine, many only come with one drop weight for tennis or badminton. You might want to watchout and get the one can do both. Also, you will need badminton clamp for badminton string.
