I was wondering about this, too. Sure, she's still young, and lacking experience when compare to a lot of others. Also, her younger age gives her multiple chances to participate in the near future. However, with CHN dominance in Uber cup, I don't think a reserve role is that critical to the out come. Why not send the young guns out earlier, and let them gather some valuable experience?

Rain is a Korean singer. I'm in the wrong generation too. But i saw his interview in TalkAsia. He seems to be very popular even he is not as well known as those that we know. Maybe among teenagers.

So far she has not performed well yet...hope CHN sends her more to tournaments...I saw rain also in HKG when I was working in HKG..Rain was promoting beauty products in my office building ( Silvercord)....those girls..wow...waited there for 2 hrs..just to see his face,,,..I thought it was a protest in front of my office building....
