Get Cappy to take you to all the Mondo Gelato shops. I heard that's the source of his smashes (and toothaches)

Friday night session
Ok, Pete LSD promised that the friday night session should be "light and relax", then...
After a nice home cook meal (by friendies, good stuff!!!), we went to VRC for the suppose to be light session. Not too many ppl around after 10pm, and we got several games within the group. Friendies got some nice finish shots against the guys, and old LB again runs for his life. Thank god, guys took a bit easy on me, and I did not cramp.
Well, that's might not be the case anymore once it comes to Sat main session... Time to pray.

So, if we have more ppl coming, maybe we need to book one more court? Well, hope by monday night, I still can stand on my own feet.

I think for now we could stick with the one court, but if more are planning to show, we will need a second court.

Badrad took some pictures tonight at VRC. I had a cold so left early, much to my dismay. The gang is still duking it out at VRC as we speak. LB must have played with 20 over people already!

Urgh! Left my digicam in the car. Here's some of Friendies' shots. Not alot of action shots since everybody's focused on the 'torture'. I didn't take too many shots either since I just arrived right after they're almost done for the evening. I will post mine later.
BTW, Break-My-String... they won't be able to drop into Collingwood since we left abit late. They took quite a beating from our VRC-BF'ers so they need to recuperate for VLTBC later on.

Looks like fun and I'm sure that it was fun. Too bad that I can't make it out (family commitments). Had to get up early today for the Sun Run too.

I don't know about these two... they kept saying they were tired, and they still kept being able to jump on the court spry and energetic for each game. Maybe their secret training is showing with their endurance for the punishment!

which restaurants should not be missed?
This thread has been very helpful for other baddies planning to visit Vancouver.
We are half a dozen fiftysomething badders all set to visit Vancouver the weekend of May 5th for best Chinese food and relaxing badminton recreation.
Do you mind completing your list by making daily recommendations on the restaurants too?

Had a chat with LB and Frendies. Looks like we got another convert to feathers and fine food. Will be joining them at TamaKazu (along Broadway and Granville) for their sushi feast later after their VLTBC visit.
Urkel, Welcome to the forum. Please read up on the thread cuz we did mention some very nice places to eat. For great Chinese restuarants, you have to head out to Richmond for them. Alleluia (along Westminster Highway going towards #3 road on the westbound side of the highway) being one of them.
