Hi guys, I just restrung my MP77 with BG66 SHARP, I was originally going with BG66 but the woman at the store talked me out of it. It was the same price, so what the heck. Besides, she said it sounded louder and better too :D

    What exactly is the difference?

*SIGH, 89 views and 1 reply. I guess there really isn't much difference except the sound.

The Bg66Sharp gives you better feel. The sound is not important. But the good thing is that it is more durable IMO compare to the BG66. Hold tension better as well.

Well, BG66 and BG66 Sharp are the same price here in Toronto. Tried them out this morning, the sound is really "sharp". Smashes were pretty strong nad net play was good. Overall a good string so far, need more time to truly test it out.

What's the "same price" about? Boosting the price of BG66 up to BG66S to make them the same price?? That would be expensive for BG66......

well, ive used the string for 3 weeks. The sounds is awesome, it gives me lots of control for drops and net shots, however i feel that it is giving much less power than my BG80 for some reason. *SHRUGS

I don't take much notice of the sound, but BG66S is the most repulsive Yonex string I have come across. However it isn't the most repulsive string I have come across.
