I need to do a data management assignment that relates to my "burning passion" for a subject. So I decided to do somethign related to badminton. One that seems relatively easy to do is the relation between age and the winners of tournament sanctioned by IBF (I guess that includes all the china opens, english opens wtv wtv?). So can soemone please lead me to where I can find such information? Or if you have any other suggestions of what thesis question I should do, please feel free to post =)
Lol, I remember last year when I also had to do an assignment similar to yours. But my idea was the number of people who show up at the badminton club on various days. My teacher said it was a lousy idea.
Thats what I was thinking of doing. Exactly word for word as yours =P. However, I don't know where to find the information :crying:
I am sure you could find out the dates of birth of the winners online. You then just need to know the dates of the finals and then you can calculate how old the winners were on that date. Once you've done that, Bob's your Uncle, as they say
Hi, Can someone please give me a complete list of the officially sanctioned tournaments? Eg. china open...etc etc =S Or
Hi, Can someone please give me a complete list of the officially sanctioned tournaments? Eg. china open...etc etc =S Or else I would have to jsut go for olympic winners....which is quite a short list I think =S
How about doing a demographic of the worlds top players/tournament winners by nationality. As well as age you could look at other factors such as height and whether they are right or left handed?
Wow...thanks. That was, although obvious, somethign I did not think of. I thought I would have to search through this forum to dig up soemthing .
Okay this is annoying. A couple weeks back, when I looked for the result of past winners from the Thomas Cup, I could actually find the name of the players that won. Now, all I can find is the country that won. CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHERE I CAN FIND THE NAMES OF THE PLAYERS THAT WON?
