    Hey guys,

I was browsing thru badmintonalley just now and it shows that the only difference between at800of and at800de is that at800de is even balanced wherelse at800of is head heavy balanced. is that right?
if thats not right, can anyone tell me the difference? cos at800de feels head heavy to me.

I think AT800 DE is head heavy, but it is less head heavy than AT800 OF.

Regarding stiffness, IMO they are quite similar, or there is only slight difference.

AT800 DE has an aerodynamic frame.

Another thing which I'd like to add.

In badmintonalley.com website, both AT800 OF and DE use UHMG/Ultimum Ti in the shaft. However, refering to Yonex website, both use HMG/Ultimum Ti for the shaft (*not* UHMG). Only the frame part uses UHMG.

Looks like the particular Yonex and BadmintonAlley are both wrong. I am looking at the Official Yonex 2006 catalog and here is what it saids.

Yup, the JP site is right. I thought one of the Yonex countries had it wrong - I checked US site but they updated it very recently that it looks like the JP site which you linked.

Sorry my bad, I mis-read your initial post, I thought it said the whole racket is either UHMG or HMG!

    No problem, Matt :)

Btw, I have emailed BadmintonAlley.com as you suggested. I hope they can make some changes in their website to match Yonex specification.

Wow, I didn't know the AT series bag also have the stitched version.

So, People can now collect CAB, AT, MP, and Ti stitched bags. Very nice collection after the foam bags collection.

When I got my AT500 in Canada, I got the bag Matt showed. In HK, they ran out of musclepower bags, so they gave me the stitched AT bag. I think its the difference in countries.
