hmm..i've heard that there was a specific date set up by melissa for U19...that its U19 as of Dec.06...which seems totally unfair...since im still 18...and will still be U19 whent he tournament takes place, yet as of dec.06 i'll be 19

Age Group
In the past tournaments their are specific date setup for age group purposes. I followed those tournaments, because it would set a standard. I didn't notice that now other tournaments did change to Jan 1, 2006 instead.
Any ways.. to me I think its okay if you are U19 before the tournament and join in that category, if you are not a ranked player. For me to host a tournament the goal is to have fun, experience, challenge and to fundraise for the school.
To me no matter what age group I play, I have lots of fun, challenge myself and get more and more experience to improve my game. Its always been a good experience not just in playing, but in meeting new people and a good chance to play with different people that you don't normally get to play against.
I am open to ideas and comments .. because I would like to improve the tournament so it is successful and more and more people support YUMO. I love to play badminton and I really want to start more programs or functions and not just only tournaments.
Thanks again!

WTH that would mean ur not strict about your own tournament settings , so if you let it all side meaning that this is pure ******** of a tournament, you put U19 and U16 for a reason and the date setting of 2006. its a bit late for poeple to draw back now for those who have already put in there forms.... so i highly think its unfiar to change ur mind almost at the last moment of the tournament because i know for a fact that some of my friends put in there forms as open insetd of U19, so if u let things slide like this thats just seriously alot of bull ****......... as a comment i suggest u stricly follow what you have posted and not go back on it, though its only to have fun , most people play seriously and it would mean its unfair for them when the thought they had a chance.........

age is hard to prove and follow especially for non ranking tournaments... It should be sorted by skill levels! :P

well dont matter but if the organizer does not stick to what the from is sent out and says on it then that organizer is pretty useless
