    Hi guys,
    I am looking to purchase a new racket. I am currently using a CAB30MS 3UG4 strung with BG80 @ 22lbs.

If I were to buy a NS8000 3UG4, what would I expect? What kind of differences are there between the two rackets? Or should I just buy another CAB30MS for back up?

    Any suggestions are welcome.

the real question you should be asking is, do you like your cab30ms now?

if you do, buy another cab30ms.

I second chickenpoodle on that. I have both racquets and it took me almost a month to get use to NS8K. I feel Cab30ms has better control for net play and little more on the smashing power. I like the NS8K for better smashing control and angle. I feel NS8K has better manuverability. My feeling is that Cab30ms is better for attacking and NS8k is better for defending. However, the difference is very small. If I were you, I would get Cab30 because it is a lot cheaper and durability.

Unless you don't like the cab30ms at all, my suggestion is to get another cab30ms. Changing in between an oval and iso racket in the middle of a game, is the last thing you want to do. ;)

I like Cab30MS a lot and I own two of them. I have a NS8000 as well but did not like the headlight feeling. Thus if I were you I would get another Cab30MS.

if you decide on getting something other than a cab30ms, let us know what it is and how it goes!

i don't have that problem though, between my ns8000s, and carlton airblade superlites. :)

i guess identical strings, gripping, and as similar static balance points as possible aids in transition!

Well I play badminton on sundays at this community centre with my uncle and we happen to know this guy there who has a connection in HK to buy rackets for a cheaper price.

EDIT: The CAB30MS is $80CAD not $100 LOL.

He can also get a MP99 for $120CAD, so I think I am leaning towards that now, instead of getting another CAB30MS

Cab30ms is only $80CAD??? I am not sure. In www.mybadmintonstore.com (based in HK?), I think cab30ms is listed as $130+ USD...

Now, I wonder if your source is trustworthy...

Ive used the rackets that the guy bought from HK, such as MP99, AT700 and they are as real & genuine as can get. That's the only reason I am taking his word for it and purchasing rackets from him.

Am I missing something here. Usually racquet in HK is cheaper than US. Since SD badminton supply is listing Cab30 for $109 string w/ bg65, I assume the price in HK should be cheaper, not more. I can not understand what mybadmintonstore is doing.:(
