For the date code of 310778SP (date=31 Jul 2007), the valid serial no. should be after 7050000.
For the serial no. of 2391979, the valid date code should be in Jan 2000.
I would attempt to say that it is a fake.
But I really have no answer to this, since you bought it from a reputable badminton shop.

yonex makes that many racquets between 3 months?
let me see... let's say 3 months with 30 days each in a month (which is not true but makes my life easier)
