I have checked in the information of your Yonex Nano 8000 shaft Serial:6369413; Cone Date Code:280862TH (date=28 Aug 2006) to my information list of Yonex rackets made in Japan, its serial no. and date code are legitimate.

However you still need to inspect the other physical features of the racket carefully and compare the specifications to ascertain its total legitimacy or authenticity yourself.

Could you please check whether this is authentic or fake? I have already bought it (yes, I know now stupid me), but when it turns out to be fake I'm going to ask my money back.

The price is too cheap to be true. Was this an auction or buy it now?

Here it is, the seller says it's original and also sells cheaper racquets whereby he doesn't state the term "orginal".
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=190223000164

Edit: the only thing that's different is that the racquet I've received has a different serial code than shown in the image

After looking at the auction the racket is definitely fake. If you bought it buy paypal you report the seller for selling fake rackets and get your money back.

Rene Kuil has already paid for the racket but wasn't sure if it was real.
