the guy claims that he bought it at sport chek about a month and a half ago, lost the receipt and can't return it...that's why he's selling...i have a bad feeling about this...i wouldn't think that sport chek would carry at 700...hmmm...i think he mentioned that he bought it at yorkdale? not sure...

i dont think the N9k came out in year 2000. not mistaken is year 2006.
btw, xVisualize, why you think it is fake?

I don't know how to tell anything from the cone serial... Did you come to a conclusion if it was a fake or not?

I don't know why I thought it was a fake, the cone serial seems reallllllyy... weird? 080706. 8 7 6 o.o;; I always thought serial codes were supposed to be 'unique' =p

Well...the serial is unique...not the date code. The 080706 is the date code (date it was produced) and is definitely not unique, unless Yonex only makes 1 racquet per day

I'm not too sure about Yorkdale carrying the AT700 or not. As to this date, I don't think there has been a US or CD coded counterfeit (haven't been on forums for half a year so I might be wrong) and the serial/date code seems to be legitimate. The best thing to do is to search this forum and figure out how to distinguish between a genuine and a counterfeit racquet so you will be well prepared for the deal tomorrow.

i scout through in this thread. i found someone did post this. please do recheck with your serial and cone. the font style shall match.

There are no spaces between the last number and the SP. Post a picture to be sure though. However, if the date code is the one you posted then for sure, it is counterfeit.

is a fake. the digit one, shall look like "l" and not "1"
