    Hi, all
my friend donated this racket to me, can anybody tell me whether it is fake or not? i need your help.
    thx!
I have checked in the information of your Yonex Muscle Power Limited shaft Serial:7385153; Cone Date Code:210182SP (date=21 Jan 2008) to my information list of Yonex rackets made in Japan, its serial no. and date code are legitimate.

However you still need to inspect the other physical features of the racket carefully and compare the specifications to ascertain its total legitimacy or authenticity yourself.

Can someone kindly advise me whether my this newly bought racket is genuine or not? Feel puzzled as ther shop owner tell me it is a new model and it does not have the wording "Light" on the shaft and the color is blue instead of yellow.

When the present seiral system of numbering Yonex rackets made in Taiwan started, it begins with 5000000 (7-digit figure) in 01 Jan 2000.

When the shaft serial no. hit 9999999 in late Apr or early May 2008, Yonex decides to keep the 7- digit figure and starts afresh from 0000001? or may be 1000000?

My first record in my list of Yonex rackets made in Taiwan after 9999999 is a Muscle 29 with the shaft serial of 1545165 and cone code of 200584SW (20 May 2008).

I've been thinking for a long time whether to buy the raqcuet here, since it sounds just to cheap...
After friends of mine told me they bought rackets there, and they were satisfied with them, I've descided to give it a go...

leehsim, you're one of a kind. again, thanks for checking the serials for me (and the many others you've helped). i'll try to compare my racket to a confirmed authentic one but there's not too many badminton stores around here and i really doubt they have an mp-100

the previous page has lots of information. it would help to know where your friend bought your racquet but since its a gift, doesn't matter too much.
