With all due respect, if you're committed to buying a racquet here and WANT to know the authenticity of the serial number BEFORE you buy it, why not have it checked ESPECIALLY when the sale is coming through this forum?

I wrote it down that I haven't paid for it yet out of honesty, but it looks like once again being honest doesn't reward itself. I was WELL AWARE that this isn't meant to be to check for something you haven't purchased YET I need to know this information right now because it could possibly help me sleep better these nights. Not surprisingly, the lack of honesty provides a market that allows production of fake products. Maybe I should've just omitted that part out and avoid the whole "you're not supposed to check items you don't have" altogether.

I can understand why Lee won't check EBAY sales and stuff like that but come on, this is much more important. You really don't want to see BC forum people ripping off another do you?

Actually this has been brought up before. We don't want any shopping inquiries listed in the thread, even if it's prior to purchase - it is still a shopping inquiry which belongs to the shopping inquiries thread.

Also in general it's a BC member it would be genuine. Specifically, what is the name of the forum member?

I have checked in the information of your Yonex Ti10 2nd gen Shaft Serial:7293695; Cone Code:301178SP (date=30 Nov 2007) to my information list of Yonex rackets made in Japan, its shaft serial and cone code are legitimate.

However you still need to inspect the other physical features of the racket carefully and compare the specifications to ascertain its total legitimacy or authenticity yourself.

Is the top of the racket supposed to be not as oval as the HL racket? And is the bottom of the Yonex racket supposed to have that big of a string gap?

isometric (square head) racquets have been around for many years now and a genuine NS9K would also be squared head like the one in the picture. But at $60USD, I doubt it is a genuine racquet though

Thanks. That's the way we want it. A lot of members are tired of seeing shopping inquiries in here, which includes some members no longer checking rackets. If you were here long enough, you would understand we members such as myself are comming from.

The racket is fake. At that price it's too good to be true
