Very rarely we come across fake rackets for low-end Yonex rackets made in Taiwan or China.

If you have owned the racket, you can post your doubt with photos of the racket for otner BC Forum members to give their opinion.

She played the racket 2 months and sold it now to me.
She bould it from someone dirictly from japan and payed 140€ for it.
I don't have a good feeling about it but maybe i red to much about fake rackets.
    What do you thinck?
That is fake for sure . They are only just now, one year later, approaching that serial number. It's not even worth half that €70!

Similar number has been exposed before:

For the cone code of 280882SP (date=28 Aug 2008), the valid shaft serial should be close to 7890000.

For the shaft serial of 8852599, the valid cone code should be somthing like 19089xCC (date=19 Aug 2009).

    IMHO, your Nanospeed 9900 shaft Serial:8852599; Cone Code:280882SP (date=28 Aug 2008) is a fake.

My friend has his special contact in China which got hold of this for me.
It was around July~August 2008 when it was bought.

Thank you very much for verifying for me.

If it's not too much trouble, my first ever racket bought in Malaysia 5+ years ago.
If this guy is genuine I might go back to him again.
    Thanks for your time!!!

I have checked in the information of your Yonex Nanospeed 6000 shaft Serial:8213074; Cone Code:200193FR (date=20 Jan 2009) to my information list of Yonex rackets made in Japan, its shaft serial and cone code are legitimate.

However you still need to inspect the other physical features of the racket carefully and compare the specifications to ascertain its total legitimacy or authenticity yourself.

Leeshim will not check rackets purchased on eBay but that doesn't really matter to you, I think you know it's fake.

Your racket was supposedly made on the 20th day of the 72nd month of 2003. Firstly, I'm not sure that the AT range was out in 2003 but that shouldn't be your biggest worry; obviously, there is no 72nd month and so, the cone code of your racket is incorrect, making it fake.

Sorry to be the barer of bad news.
