Hi;
Does anybody know if it is true that the quality of a JP version YY racket is better than other versions?
My JP NS9000X is less stiffer than my US NS8000.

1. There are already tons of debates regarding XX version is better or worse than ZZ version. There are believers and non-believers. So, pick you own choice whether to believe or not.
2. Whether stiffer or not, is part of the racket feature itself (unless it's a defect which is off spec). Stiffer does not mean better or worse, just suit for different users.
3. I don't think this thread is the place to discuss which version, model is better.

I have checked in the information of your Yonex NS9000 S shaft Serial:6174713; Cone Date Code:190562IP (date=19 May 2006) to my information list of Yonex rackets made in Japan, its serial no. and date code are legitimate.
However you still need to inspect the other physical features of the racket carefully and compare the specifications to ascertain its total legitimacy or authenticity yourself.

For a start, you can read and try to understand what the official Yonex Japan site said about fake rackets.
http://www.yonex.co.jp/badminton/pro...ice/index.html
and then, search the Badminton Central Forum's threads on fake rackets.
