Could someone please verify this for me? I read that the first 5 digits are for dd/mm/yy, with the last number being unknown. On my racket, the 5th digit is a 0, which doesn't make sense to me because it's a Z-Slash, and they came out in 2009 right? Anyways, here's the info:
---->8---- cut here (include this line) ---->8----
    racket model: Yonex ArcSaber Z-Slash
    shaft serial: 9649439
    cone code : 300902US
    source : Badminton Alley http://www.badmintonalley.com/
    price : $225 before tax, ~$240 after.
->8---- cut here (include this line) ---->8----
Also, could someone explain the cone serial number to me? As in how to read it. Thanks for the help.

This is not a thread for shopping enquiries.

Some fake rackets can be identified via their serial numbers. If you wonder if your racket is a fake, post them here so we can verify them for you.

The format of the serial number is:

    1234567 311226XX

In additional to the serial number, you need to tell us:

WHO DID YOU BUY THE RACKET FROM?

That usually tells us if it is genuine or not.

    Here is the template.
Cut and paste it into your post and fill in the details.
    Every line is mandatory.
If you do not follow the template, your post will be deleted:

---->8---- cut here (include this line) ---->8----
    racket model: Yonex XXXX XXXX
    shaft serial: 1234567
    cone code : 123456AB
    source : shop name, location
    price : US$???
---->8---- cut here (include this line) ---->8----

PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK THE ABOVE INFORMATION.

Read this article to understand what the serial number means:

All looking good . Cone code is the manufacturing date, not the release date ...

I know, but could you please explain which digits represent what? Like which numbers represent month, which are day, and which are year.

You know yet it makes no sense for a Z-Slash to have a 0 because it came out in 2009

So the 300902 is the date right? I thought the 30 was the day, 09 was year, and 02 was month, but from what I read it would be 30 is day, 08 is month, and 0 is year, and that's what confused me. So which digits stand for what?
