Dear Demolidor,
Before meeting with the BCer, I check the first few posting on this thread to learn about fake rackets. I noticed that the cone code looks "interesting". When I met with the BCer to check the racket, I realized that the racket had a different code. It was printed as 8826060, 621800SP". From what I have learnt from the postings, I reconized it as a fake straight away. I was lucky this time. I will not reveal the BCer's name as he could have purchased a fake from someone else and wasn't intentional in pushing a fake racket. But he did have a brand new NS9900, ARC Z slash and used a AT900 on sale. Perhaps fellow BCers in Singapore must be more careful.

For the first two the 3rd & 4th number = 88. 3rd and 4th number stand for month of they year. Thus 88 can never be valid since we only have 12 months in the year. So numbers 3&4 can only ever be (01, 02, 03, ..., 10, 11 or 12; ex. **04**SP). Besides that newer models like ARC10 and NS9900 will never have a shaft serial starting with "2".
For MP100 it is an old model. The 5th number stands for the year of production (only last digit, so 2009 = 9). Since MP100 is an old discontinued model a long time ago it can never have been manufactured in 2009. Now that I'm typing this is there is even an extra digit
. Cone code can only have 6 numbers & 2 letters of which first two numbers are day of the month, next two numbers are month of the year, 5th digit is year of manufacturing and 6th digit is secret but not related to the date.
Since your cone code for MP100 has seven numbers even it already indicates fake ...
Will somebody fix the link already on page 1!?!

This is not a shopping thread. If you're not going to name names anyway what is the point? And if you want to be sure have them post it here since they still own it
.
