i dont know..he just said his friend buy form singapore... but when i remove the grip, i dont see bar code sticker on it.. is it all original yonex racket have bar code sticker inside?

sometimes the bar code gone because of the grip
when you (or the person before) remove the grip, the glue is too strong, therefore the sticker also removed

i think no.. inside has one black tape cover the wood... remove the tape didnt have bar code.. i think mine is FAKE... arghhh

Your shaft serial and cone code look fine to me, i think it's better for you to put the picture up

I don't know what base the store said it's fake
but as I said before, the number close to the real one
bar code sticker doesn't prove it's an original Yonex

The cone code no. is all right but that is not the font that genuine Yonex rackets are using.

And... recommended tension for VT70 3U is 20-25lbs.

sorry, the shaft serial and cone code looks plausible

but, JP Yonex racket comes with soft cloth bag, it is not same with the normal bag
also, they use wrong font (for shaft serial and cone code)

That's too counterfeit!! That is what happends from getting products from a unreliable source.

Also please do not mix up the terms such as "original" and "genuine", they are completely two different meanings. Already seen the last few posts incorreclty used "original" when it should be "genuine".

As also mentioned by the others it is a fake. But perhaps you can also post pics of the wooden handle ...
The number combination is actually correct/valid which is why the "source" is also an important part which some seem to have trouble with mentioning

this racket is produced: day 20, month 88, 2002 for Japan distribution
first, there is no month 88
second, VT70 is not produced back then 2002! (or this racket from future? 2012? )

you should send it back and ask a refund
may I know what shop it is? (for data base sake)
