I'm checking for a friend. I got his racquet (I'm stringing it) and I noticed that the serial started at "6218". I vaguely recall the first two digits to be DD and the next two to be MM... If that was the case a day of 62 is impossible and a month of 18 is impossible too.

Would like some confirmation if this is fake or not. It was a hand-me-down from his uncle.

you are right again, there is no such thing as day 62 and month 18..

Glad to know! Damn, there seriously are too many fake racquets around..

I stared at this Armortec for ages and it never occurred to me that it could be fake. The paint job was well-done. A Super A Grade Fake racquet lol. They even have the PBSI engraved, but lacked the Yonex sticker (which I figured could've possibly been taken out by his uncle) It wasn't until I looked at the serial number that the idea donned on me that it was, inevitably, fake.

So sad these days how many fake products are out there
