Hi
A friend of mine just came back from China a brought me back a Yonex Nanospeed 9000, can you check its authenticity for me. I cannot give you the seller name as it was bought in an arcade type of place in China.
Many thanks

that's a fake for sure.
the serials are all wrong, and there's no way you'd be able to buy a ns9000 for such a low price if it were authentic.

Sorry did not realize that you did not check serial nos. & date codes of Yonex Rackets purchased on EBay ? I thought you checked all codes to determine if they were genuine Yonex rackets or not.
Whilst I know that there are many fake Yonex rackets on Ebay I did not assume that all sold there were fake.
My apologies, I just wanted assistance and proof that the racket was indeed fake as it had cracked very easily under low tension and had it been a genuine Yonex racket then I would have felt obliged to have replaced this.
Thanks to Athelete1234's reply I can now let the player know that it is infact a fake and I will not need to replace it for him.

Leeshim used to check rackets purchased on Ebay until he stopped.
According to your join date of Sept 2003, he stopped later and it was known on this thread at the time.

racket model: yonex Titanium Pro 801
shaft serial: 8689186
cone code : 250763SP
source : Philippines Yonex Dealer (selling at State Center, Juan Luna, Manila)
price : US$30
After buying this racket, i decided to check it out on the internet to know more about it, sad to say, i can't seem to find any info on it, which leads me to conclude that it is a fake. I've provided the serials for your verification. If this is a fake then I could still stop payment as I used my credit card to pay for it. Thank you very much and have a wonderful day ahead.

i also bought this from the same dealer, kindly check if this is real or also counterfeit.
my initial analysis would suggest that this might be counterfeit as well because mp22 is an old model but cone code indicates production date of July 17, 2007. Thanks is advance.

For this one, wait for members who are familar with the serial numbers to verify it. Chances are, it would not be counterfeit because the counterfeits are normally found on the high-end rackets.

Yes...
..what Dreamzz wrote is correct
..They're not counterfeit, as i've seen them sold, mostly in retail stores, before. However, they're lower end rackets & most, if not all, of them are only available in S.E. Asia..For more infos, here are some related threads:
