the shaft serials and the cone code does not match..

I don't see anything wrong with the racket..
there is no writing on the bottom part because it is made in taiwan
most of new Yonex racket that is made in taiwan will not gonna have "taiwan" word on the bottom
on the old one, yes they put it, but on the new one, they only put the logo

hmm.. are you sure it feels flexible? do you have any other racket that you can compare with?
arcsaber 008 supposed to be a stiff racket (I don't know about the new batch though). they are not up there with some stiffest racket such as NS9900 or MX80, but it is stiff

if you try to bend it and it is bend, don't worry, even NS9900 or MX80 would bend in the hand of a male
nothing wrong with the racket, you should just enjoy it (if you friend has a flexible or medium shaft racket, try it and feel the differences)

I also have a musclepower 21, it's been used for awhile though, I dunno, would that be a good comparison? But yeah maybe this racket just isn't the type of racket for me in terms of stiffness. I'll try out a friend's arc 10 or something, I'm pretty sure that's stiff, and go from there. Thanks a lot!

yeah, you could try your friend's arcsaber 10.
most likely your arcsaber 008 would be a little bit more flexible than the arcsaber 10

I believe the arcsaber 008 would be closer to your MP21 in term of head heaviness (even balance toward head light)
the arcsaber 10 would be more of even balance toward head heavy
