who knows, we also need the cone code to identify the racket. shaft serial and cone code are not separable.

nice, I want to buy a new racket too. I got stuck with MX80 for 1 and 1/2 year now (not that I am complaining on using a very great racket like that)

yeah, they are authorised dealer and the shaft serials and cone code are within reasonable range (I am not going to say a racket is genuine just because they are from authorised dealer. but because also the shaft serials and cone code are good.) so do not worry about it

still not sure. I just want a new racket to try..

I was thinking to try adidas. but they are so expensive.. (I know they put a lot of technology in it, but still, too expensive for new player)
not gonna buy Li-Ning for sure. not sure about Victor as I already tried one of their top range racket. not really interested in Yonex racket except VT80 PG edition (purely because of cosmetic reason). then either Panda power revelation, or RKEP XP-80.
I am leaning for RKEP XP-80 or maybe I will just gonna grab few without name woven racket in Hongkong

*sorry guys for out of topic discussion

I see :000, yeah the VT-80 is sure a beauty. I'm usually like a pure yonex guy yonex everything except strings and grips, I hate super grap for its durability. But I think in going to try to lean towards different brands and try a variety. I do like rkep and I've heard many good reviews of the rackets too. I might try one heheh

    yes, you got it right

it is not about that though. the main problem is, I cannot give you any answer if you just give me the first 2 number of the cone code. answering "28XXXXX" is invalid because:
you give me something like: this racket is created on day 28, month XX, year X for Singapore distribution (since you said SP code, but it turns out HK code.)
it doesn't makes sense at all. if you can at least give me the month, I can help you to identify it
while you still follow the yearly format 2010 starts with 9XXXXXX, I can tell from date month and year, plus code of distribution.
when I said 2011 mostly are 2XXXXXX, but actually, jan and early feb 2011, is is still 99XXXXX (and mid feb changed to 23XXXXX)

SP on racket does not mean SP coded. your's is HK code which also has SP on the shaft.
the meaning is, you need to peel the sunrise sticker to give me the code.

both of your racket are fine (that's why I didn't read the name and skip it and let other members ascertain it)

normal VT80 is beautiful, but VT80 PG (Peter Gade edition) is just gorgeous.
yeah, I never used Yonex grips.. I tried karakal and RKEP and they are really good. it is sad that it is hard to open paypal in Indonesia though (I need to have a credit card, and then paypal needs to check it with my bank to check the authenticity)
