I don't know about the date for this one is kinda too old for me to detect and it's made in taiwan serials (different serials than made in japan model
but it should be fine as it is made in taiwan model
HOWEVER the price is outrageous!

don't buy it.. your friend ripped you off
for 150 USD you can buy made in japan model which is high end model. why do you want to pay that much for mid end model? (00X is made in tawain model. while without the 00 it's made in japan model)

for example
arcsaber 008 = made in Taiwan = mid end
arcsaber 8DX = made in Japan = high end
