I hear that MDI YMCA, Bar Harbor, ME will hold a Tournament on Sunday Apr 30. It is just a one day tournament with singles, doubles and mix. Nylon shuttlecocks and 10 points game till semi finals. Sounds small conpetition for beginners but for me it's rare chance to play badminton. What I want to know is, whether it is worth driving for nearly 4 hours to go or not ? I have never joined one there before. Anybody knows about last conpetition ? I will ask the details YMCA this week, but want to get more info from you guys. Regards,

Hmm wierd Hmm this is what i found and its not the same info. Tournament starts on May 21st. Click this link http://www.mdiymca.org/Badminton%20Tourny.htm
Eastcoast AZN, Ref my second message. Their web is not updated. May 21st was their last competition 2005. Please be careful.
Will Play for Food! Hope they hand out trophies as prizes and here's my suggestion--->voucher for a free lobster dinner!!
A lobster is cheaper than the cost of (gas&entry fee, etc) from your location. 2nd prize sounds better than 1 st prize.
Life is a highway, i want to ride it all night long True true....but i might be crazy enough to drag someone with me to play mix hahaha....sshh...oh yea i'll probably leave friday night then go sightseeing on saturday and have my lobster dinner then play on sunday. Oh boy i'm gonna cry sunday night when i speed back to NYC. Hmm This April 15th i'm going to the Mansfield University Open in northern PA. Wish me luck.
