I hear that MDI YMCA, Bar Harbor, ME will hold a Tournament on Sunday Apr 30. It is just a one day tournament with singles, doubles and mix. Nylon shuttlecocks and 10 points game till semi finals. Sounds small conpetition for beginners but for me it's rare chance to play badminton.

What I want to know is, whether it is worth driving for nearly 4 hours to go or not ? I have never joined one there before. Anybody knows about last conpetition ? I will ask the details YMCA this week, but want to get more info from you guys.

    Regards,

A lobster is cheaper than the cost of (gas&entry fee, etc) from your location. 2nd prize sounds better than 1 st prize.
