hey , outta plain curiosity and just for fun, which string would you say matches/ best suits the AT 500. Im looking for something that gives good repulsion (BG80,85, 66 etc.) as well looks good. Not very many colors of strings match that of the AT500. Anyways this is just for fun and if u would like to say what your fav string on your racket is feel free. and plz tell us why.

    thanks

Yep, BG-80 serves my AT500s very well, especially in high tensions. I use the only colour available for me, yellow BG-80, but I wouldn't say it matches the colour scheme of AT500.

I think BG85 works great, gives AT500 that little extra pop it needs. Also has the right colours, the light blue and light purple match AT500 very well.

Ashaway strings work very well as well, one of my best friends and the best player I know uses AT500 with Ashaway Microlegend, the red fibres in the string don't exactly match the AT500 but play is wonderful.

I put BG65Ti on it to get a feel for the racquet first. It's a very even-across-the-boards string, so it seemed like a good choice. I find now that I need more control in it; but I don't want to sacrafice smahing power. I'm thinking of trying BG70 pro next.

I use white and it matches the colour scheme pretty well.

I started off with BG65Ti as well, it works very well but loosens quickly and then feels like garbage. I forgot to mention BG88Ti worked awesome but it costs a fortune so I never went back.

Personally, I think light blue or lav. matches AT500 the best. Of course, white is also the safe choice for any racket. :p
