    Hi Anarkia,

Search for my comment on "Which racket to get".

For a "wrist player", you should go for the lightest-weight racket. But you mentioned that you have a "powerful" wrist(from what I read), so you don't really need to go for the lightest racket. May be a medium weight racket should be ok for you.

If I were you, I would go for the lightest racket first, and may be later go for a medium weight racket. I do not know how big your hand is... I always tell my coaching students to buy the smallest size of the handle, for if you find that you need a bigger handle size later, you can just add on layer and layer of overgrip. This is much easier than to have to shave the wood of the handle with a knife or with some other tools to get to a smaller grip size.

    from my own experience:

    Karakal sl70 - just a bit stiff

    La fleche lf-500 - mid-flex shaft

Vectran series - mid flex shaft, but with some durability questions

Domino ultralite - mid flex shaft

    Hi Anarkia,

You may want to try the Euro E-1000. I bought one of these racquets forom Mr. Tan E in HK and it is a very good racquet for a wrist players. I had mine for about a month now and I play with this more than my AT800 OF, RSL 5900 and my Wilson N1. This racquet uses high tension (26lbs/28.5lbs) and if you have problems with high tension then you may want to avoid this. It is an excellent wrist racquet that takes some time to adjust to getting your smashes.

Search the BC for "Euro E-1000 review" and PM Mr. Tan E.

So does that mean wrist player should use mid flex racquets while arms players should use stiff racquets?

Also how did you managed to buy the E-1000? How much did you pay and how was it shipped to you?

    Hi Vince,

I PM Mr. Tan E and arranged to buy a racquet from him. Due to the many off spec racquets I decided to buy it directly form the source. I was asked not to post the price I paid for it, so I can not give that information (not a large discount from the list price). I had one of our club members visiting HK and I told him to meet Mr. Tan E and pickup the racquet and bring it to me in Canada.

So that means that top players using racquets that are usually very stiff are considered arm players?

The best bet is to arrange it with the designer, send a pm to Uncle Taneepak.

You can also try the Prince Oversize Orange. It's head heavy and it feels like a 2U-3U in between G5. There is Prince Oversize Orange, Silver and Red. Orange is the head heavy one with a little stiffer frame but not that stiff. Oversize is the latest Prince technology which has the largest sweet spot they claim. It's looks fabulous! Really awesome crom coating. Beautiful racket plus one of the ex-Malaysian player uses it. My friend. :)

    Cheers

I use to use a woven 6.............it is a nice racket. I am very wristy myself. I found the NS8k quite good although this racket does not suit all people.

To me the NS8k is like a stiffer woven 6. To me they feel quite simular.

The ns8k does feel alot more crisper and for me is better for placement/accuracy. The woven 6 would imho have a bit more sting in smashes. The woven 6 feels alot more flexible than the ns8k and doesn't feel as stable on hard impacts on the shuttle.

Oh yeah..................the woven 6 i feel is very durable compared to the ns8k.
