    hi

it would make an ok first time racket, even balance, flexible shaft, should make it a good all rounder racket.

Yah, that's probably true. I'm a guy so for 2U still feels quite fine. I have seen MP23 3U before though. Can try getting that one if you think 3U works for you. :D

I bought one last week, and it works very well for me. Make sure you practice with it during training before playing any matches, as it might take a few scrimmages to get used to it.

It's a pretty good racket overall. I don't feel any strain on my arm, and don't have any trouble clearing to the back of the court, nor have any problems dropping or smashing. Beats my Carlton anyday :)

there is no 3U MP23, only 2U. I have never seen a 3U Mp23 plus the yonex websites also state 2U. If you manage to buy/find a 3U MP23, pls post pics :)

MP23 not worth it in Singapore because it comes with factory strings that are at some super lower tension and hardly any feel. You have to spend an extra $15 to cut the strings and restring.

    Might as well get Proace/APACs.

Alternatively, if you want, I can sell you my hardly used MP23 with new strings ;)
