I played a friendly mixed doubles a while ago and hit my female opponent on the head with a smash down the middle. I apologised and we carried on. A few minutes later there was a weak lift and I thought I'd smash the return. I had a quick look to see that my female opponent was standing in the middle and aimed a smash down the left hand side. Problem was she saw me about to smash and stepped away down the left hand side to escape....and got hit again!

ahh head-shots....we actually had some sort of competition at my club. Was quite funny because 80% were all 'near hits'.

I actually head-shot somebody from the baseline with a smash. that was real fun. mostly because it looked hilarious, but no harm done (I hope)

she laughed harder than me...and really, the shuttle had already travelled 2/3 of the full-court (me at the back-court, my victim midcourt) and I'm a weakling...

Aim between the eyes! I am more interested in scoring a point then trying to get a head shot or hit in general on the player. Smashing at opponents because of greater skill only lacks interest for badminton in general.

I do not care when someone aims at my head in singles..................I am tall and it is more likely to go out if i don't hit it, hehehehehe
