Yours are set up for tennis, so the bottom part of the K can make it harder to clamp near the frame.

Hi Malayali,

I'm not sure how good this stringing machine is for badminton if the racket doesn't touch the black pads at the head/throat. Since the Flash 930 seems to be built more for tennis, the side K brackets meet too close to the middle of the badminton racket (rather than the shoulder), and of course, there is NO adjustment. Without bottom support at the head/throat, and the lack of "shoulder" support, I'm sure the badminton racket will "flex" under tension if the Flash 930 isn't modified.

I guess the easiest is to add additional padding to the black pads. It would also be nice to drill new holes in the side support arms to move the k brackets closer to the shoulder. If you look at the Flash 960 -- there is an extra hole to move the k bracket closer to the shoulder, but not on our Flash 930's

I havn't strung a racket yet on the Flash 930 yet, but will let you know how it went...

As far as I know there is no way to make the black pads higher;
But then again, the 'key" to give lots of padding at the 12 O' clock position.

I'll look around some more.

partially homemade, it used to be a ferry force (http://www.coacheric.nl/cms/uploads/..._force_600.gif) huge dropweight, blocking sidesupport, mountingplates right beneath the racket, slow-ass-gripper, no clamps

now it's this:

tensionrange up to 18kgs, free suspension, supports not blocking anymore (done with shrinksleeve btw)

thanks, it was a lot of work...but my dad's a handy man

actually, all the home-made stuff works great, the bought stuff a little less (I need to back up my fixed clamps, and the gripper needs a peice of cardboard)

works like a charm though

I got a package deal for the clamps/rails/linear gripper at www.powertennis.nl

it's the dutch retailer for pro's pro, and I'm contemplating getting some good fixed clamps...Either they slip, or crush the string (no breakage at those points yet, but it looks nasty at the start)
and I'm constantly re-adjusting them because the adjustment screw slowely back out the clamp...

Ohh I see. So they're pretty much Eagnas clamps. Yes I'm in the market for some good badminton clamps myself. I really like the rounded ones that Eangas copied from Babolat, but I've heard enough consistently bad stories to keep me away. I can't seem to find any information on where to obtain genuine Babolat ones or the price (I'm sure it'll be a hefty one).
