Hello Calgary bfers~~ I'm starting a new thread... about a new trip. Anyone feels like playing some badminton on Monday May 1st PM? or perhaps Sun April 30th PM? Don't be shy
Glad you can be make it! I can finally meet another bfers I believe you mentioned Beddington Height Elementary School plays on Monday evenings from 8 pm-10:30 pm. And there is this other mysterious place, a bit far, that plays on sundays. Any input from other bfers would be very much appreciated.
beddington height elem. school plays on monday and wednesday nites. that farther place on sunday is Mount Royal College, located SW., 4-8pm if i remember it right.
monday, wednesday nites, 8-10:30pm, beddington height school friday nites, hillhurst-sunnyside community hall, 7:30-11's pm sunday morning 9-noon, ywca downtown
monday, wednesday nites, 8-10:30pm, beddington height school will have to try this place out. friday nites, hillhurst-sunnyside community hall, 7:30-11's pm been there, my knees hated me after that place. the concrete floors are noo good for my broken body :crying: sunday morning 9-noon, ywca downtown too early for a sunday ah well, guess i will only play 1 time a week for a while.
Talisman Centre is a good place usually..Cardel is not bad...YMCA has it (crowfoot, 11-3, 6-8) uhmmm those are the good pales, just lettin you know, I won't be going, you guys are all super pro
After possible 5 sessions in vancouver, it's amazing that frendies can hold on for another mult-session swing in calgary. Did she metion she will do hiking in between / after the sessions???
Who knows, either I will become "superwoman" under their tutoring (or is it torturing) or I will just sleep the whole week away after Vancouver. As for hiking, it really depends which trails are open by that time.
I vote for Beddington Height School on Monday evening. The more bfers, the merrier! as long it's not a ratio of 12 ppl/court. Are there other places besides YWCA on sundays? such as in pm?
