pardon me but how do you measure the balancing point?

Balance the racquet on a pivot to find the centre of gravity? At least that's what i thought...then measure that point to the end of the handle of the racquet....correct me if i am wrong.

badminton racket is so light, once you put the grip on the point would have altered considerably wouldnt it?

From my friend's experience with the RSL Laser 6900. It was 287mm unstrung. Then when he string it, it became 292mm. When he put on the grip it became 282mm.

Don't know who she is, but I do know that the racket she is using is an RSL 4900.

Her name is Tine Rasmussen, Top women single player in Denmark, I remember she got injured one and half years ago.
Her RSL 4900 is a good racquet, I am wondering why she is still using 4900, 6800 may be a good choice.

Your best bet would be either the X1 or the 6900.

I would say Laser 6900. Most of our racquet are even balanced

haven tried many but 6900 really does pack quite some power, much more even compared to 6800

I initially found the Laser 6900's feel abit wierd due to not being used to the tapering shaft which made the racquet slightly head heavy even though the balance point seem to imply even balance (bp = 282mm). However after using it a couple more times i am getting used to the feel and it does indeed generate quite good power without that taxing feeling on the muscles. Quite impressed with RSL racquets and looking forward to trying the Laser 6800 and maybe the X1 but not sure where to get the X1.

I would agree, for the masses the Laser 6900 is better. But for some who like to hammer away, the X1 is hard to beat.
