what is the main difference between oval raquets and isomettric raquets, cept the fact that iso's have a larger sweet spot. they are pretty much in the same spot right? if iso's are better, then why aren't all players using isos?

and one more question, how stiff is the one carlton airblade, the yock hin kock or whatever. i want one , but i need to know how stiff it is..it sounds really close to a sp sr. ok thx late

I've used the Yong Hock Kin for about one game and I found it very flexible, compared to the racquets I'm used to: AB900, Rasmussen, AB1000, Aerogear 1000FX, and MP100. Those are all quite stiff (except the MP100 which I would rate medium flexible).

I would characterize the YHK as an extremely defensive racquet.

It isnt the fact that ISO is better than oval.
It's just a preference. Some ppl prefer oval over iso.
When one can constantly hit the sweet spot, why get a racquet with an enlarged sweet spot when u dont need it?
Carbonexes are known for their durability, and i'm guessing that the players who use these racquets want a robust racquet and that they can always hit the sweet spot anyways.

Well also I should add that the Iso, makes the string tention more even and stable.

these are business tactics lah.well, how much more sweep spot in iso head compared to the oval one?it's just that damn litle bit.what can that little bit do?ok,maybe it will do better for a double's player who's standing infront.more defensive i think
