I've noticed a lot of rackets on sale at many Chinese depots, and though I've heard of some pretty outrageous kinds of fake rackets that come from China, like a white NS9000S, Armortec99, MusclePower623, or Ti-1000, I see a lot of sellers, especially cantonese ones, selling a series called Namixilie, from Namixilie 1600 to 1900, Namixilie 4000-9000. Some of these rackets cost upwards of 150 dollars USD . Now I'm about 99.99% sure that these are fake, but why would they make an entire series of fakes? Are there 'real' Namixilie that Yonex exclusively sells to the asian market? Because I've never heard of them, nor do they sound like a retired series. Any idea why they would do this? Here're some pictures
I'm sorry I don't. These pictures are from the distributor, and I'm too cheap to buy one just for inspection . But look at those grommets...it looks really cheap.
For some reason the forum is shrinking the image so it doesn't turn out very clear sometimes. Here's the URL of the image: http://img.ebigchina.com/cdimg/340631/1365182/1/1118045113.jpg And the Website: http://lmwei.ebigchina.com/sdp/340631/4/pd-1519968/1469025-0.html
the background and the logo between the N and the A of namixilie on the card in the frame is the wilson ncode logo.
it's made of full carbon fibre... i don't even think yonex have developed this high technology yet, maybe yonex will be cloning fake rackets soon.
Namixilie is putonghua pronunciaton which literally translates to nano series. Yes it is fake. Unless Yonex is licensing a China factory to launch Namixilie to compete in the counterfeit market.... LOL ... Oh by the way has anyone forwarded this picture to Yonex yet?
supprised they direclty translate Nano Seriels into Mandarin Then back into english and wala we have Na Mi (as in nano) Xi Lie (as in series) amazingly creative imo
Is Chinese consumers that blind to fall for that? No offense to Chinese people, I will suggest not to buy any name brand item from a little alley shop in China. The real shop is not any cheaper compair to legit internet seller here in US after all the s/h charge anyway. You might hurt someone if it break.
Aha, I understand mandarin, but it didn't make any sense to me until now. I guess they wanted to copy the Wilson n-code "look" but keep the expensive Yonex "brand". Does this imply that the n-coded rackets look better? Maybe Yonex should go make copies of Namixilie with real full carbon fiber! That'll be the day. I don't really think any Chinese with fundamental badminton knowledge will fall for that, but its probably a fun novelty item so long as you don't use it.
Namixilie sounds like Name Me Silly. The letter O in YONEX on the racket head is wrong. Genuine Yonex O's are more square.
well Name me silly is exaclty what we have here besides.. this one is more like a april fools joke then a real attempt to fake a yonex racket.. i can hardly see any real badminton lover would fall for this
don't think we even need to pay as much attention and look into details like the 0 and O, simply if u put a porsche logo on a Ferrari body, i really don't need to study how fake the porsche logo is and tell u off the head.. this can't be real.
