Default Malaysian Open 2006 Mens Singles Final

    Hi yschin & Fuji,

    Yeah!!! LCW beat LD, 21-18, 18-21, 23-21.

Reports said LCW played well at the net. That's what I saw... how Li Mao was training LCW at the Commonwealth Games, Melbourne 2006. I will tell you guys more about how the training was done later.

Will LCW be World No.1 now???

    Cheers... chris@ccc

I don't think LCW has enough points to get to No 1 ranking. Due to his lost in the IO 2006, his rank has drop from No. 2 to No. 4. Also because PG and KJ played in the SO 2006.

CONGRATULATIONS TO LEE CHONG WEI !!!!!!!

Chris, i want to confirm seeing you in box hill for coaching at 7:30. Let me know if you can make it at that time.

i have not yet to be able to get people to play after 9:30. I would try to go to doncaster again this thursday to get people.

From what i see, I wonder does your racket only have epilson string in the middle and the rest other brand?

    Hi yschin,
Thanks for the update. I was wondering all night on the plane as I cannot get any wireless internet access in Melbourne airport.
Free wireless internet in KL airport as I am typing this message now...
It must be a special day for all Malaysians, even more special for LCW...
Hope he does well in upcoming tournament too... Go LCW.

See you all later. Keep this thread alive. Thanks.

    Cheers,
    Fuji

    Hi hkhung,

Yes, confirming that your coaching will start at 7:30pm on Wed 21-Jun-2006.

No, my rackets are not strung with only Epsilon in the middle. But my rackets are strung with either Yonex or Epsilon strings. I only play with these 2 brands of strings.

    Hi Fuji,

Your plane from KL might arrive at the Kuching Airport at the time same LCW is departing.

Congratulate him & say hello to him from everyone@ccc.

He should remember me(with the Irish Team) at the Commonwealth Games, Melbourne 2006.

    Cheers... chris@ccc

Default IBF is slow to update Players' Rankings

    Hi BadFever,

    You are right.

IBF is a bit slow. In fact, very, very slow.

The lastest World Ranking showed that the last points included were from the Asian Badminton Championships, Johor Baru 2006. That was from 28-Mar-2006 to 2-Apr-2006. And that's two and a half months ago!!!

    Hi BadFever,

I will explain it to everyone at our CCC Social Session this coming Friday, 23-Jun-2006.

PS: I think you must have just missed the discussion on it at our Supper Club. The discussion must have taken place just one week before you joined the Supper Club.

Default Fischer rackets Vs MMOA rackets

    Hi DoublesPlease,

Fischer rackets are getting more popular in Malaysia, according to a few threads @Badminton Central.

    Here is one of them;
    http://www.badmintoncentral.com/foru...ad.php?t=33185

What happened to your Fischer? I haven't noticed you using your Fischer racket for some time. Perhaps, you are more used to your MMOA rackets now.

    Cheers... chris@ccc
