This guy on e-bay, td-dvd, comes from Australia and has 99% positive feedback, though its private, and you can't read it (something to hide?) He's selling lots of Yonex wholesale information, and it looks tempting, only $8 USD. I really had a gut feeling to quadruple check this out, so I went to his "other items" list and saw an NS8000 brand new, for what do you know, $45 USD. Paint job looks good, and seems to have the original nanospeed case, but lo and behold, its the 4U version. I don't think I've heard of a 4U NS8000 (That'd be crazy light to me) and it gives me much doubt to the authenticity of the guy's information and his wares. Here's a link: Information- http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7235939326&sspagename=ADME:L:RTQ:US:1&rd=1 NS8000- http://cgi.ebay.com/Brand-New-YONEX...oryZ2917QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem I hope this qualifies me as a "thinking" consumer . Now to find a racket in my budget.
I was thinking of getting a Yonex Nanospeed 9000-S JP from td-dvd and decided to read info on badminton central, and im happy I found this post. This price was so tempting, if you see the link http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330015566004&sspagename=ADME:B:SCO:AU:1 it is definetely tempting, cause he is also a power seller. Please let me know what you guys think. Last think I want is a fake for such a expensive price. Thanks
My own personal principle is, if there's any doubt, don't do it. With the advent of the internet, deals of the century come up any time. Passing one up once in a while is alright. The risk of getting a fake often ultimately results in disappointment, a loss of time, and a loss of cash. Although the NS9000 surely looks real, I don't trust td-dvd due to their past affiliations with fake rackets. Bid at your own risk.
