No way! You can never know if any racket will break anyway, so just play with it and have a great time. It is a real pity when a racket breaks, but you don't stop walking from fearing that you might fall some day either, do you?

I once managed to break the string of my racket with the first warm-up strike after I had restrung it.

It surely didn't stop me playing... but they heard my Viking yell a mile away when it happened
