Some people don't sweat much, others sweat just on their head or so. Sometimes its innate biological chemistry, other times it seems that they just know how to efficiently use their energy. Me, I sweat everywhere, and it gets in the way. I use an Iso 900 SP Long SX, and the thing is like an anvil, so control is always an issue and my grip has to be 110%, otherwise I run the risk of it flying off my hands (for an old racket it ain't cheap) or making a bad mistake (wood shot or high drop). My hands tend to sweat and the original yonex grip it came with oftentimes begin to feel like a bar of soap, slipping off my hand very easily.

Anyone else have this problem? And how do you resolve it/deal with it? Any replies would be greatly appreciated.

Wear a couple of wrist bands and try the Wilson X-tra X-Tack overgrip.

If that doesn't work, add a tacky towel or rosin bag for a more tacky and/or dry grip.

If that doesn't work, the only solution is to have multiple rackets with this set-up and switch among rackets when you feel the handle getting too sweaty to hold.

if it is yours hands that sweat then use a liquid hand powder, it drys your hands instantly. all you would have to do is take it on court with you and use it everytime you feel your hands are getting sweaty, you could also use a combination of this and grip powder for your rackets grip :) .
[IMG](this liquid handpowder also works very well if you put it on your shoes to gain extra grip)

Hey, that's sounds great, liquid hand powder that dries (what a paradox :D). Are there good places to buy them? And how long do they last?

I have the exact same problem with sweating, I'll go through 6 shirts in 2 games. The best solution I've found so far is to wear dri-fit clothes from Nike that helps pull sweat away from your body so no more sweat dripping down my arm. 2nd think is steal an idea from football and keep a small towl hanging from my backpocket to wipe my hands with between rallys. I personally hate those handpowder products because they are really only designed for people who sweat moderately (at least from personally experiance) and not designed for people like me who look like they've been in the shower. The power just ends up coming off to quickly and leaving my hand with a weird feeling.

I know this is an old thread, but I found that there are types of chalk (like pole-vaulters use in the olympics) that work alot better than anything (baby powder, physio, sand.) This stuff is extremely cheap($5can) and lasts about 75 games per package. Although i'm not quite sure what it is called. But you CAN wipe the excess off with a towel, and whatever remains will last about 45 good rallies.

How about some kind of glove that has good absorption properties ? Buy a few. Then you can change whenever necessary. Unlike towel grips, you can wash gloves easily.

I've found that a Gamma overgrip is very nice, it's sticky when there is some sweat in it. My only issue is that it soaks up the sweat off my hand, which would be a good thing, but after a couple of weeks it looks absolutely disgusting almost unbearable.

I remember getting a cream of some sort. Its just a small bottle and it cost around SGD$12. It kinds of prevent the sweat from coming out from your palms. Acts as a layer of some sort. Maybe you can go look for them. But its abit pricey.

    Hi guys, Found the bottle.

Name: DRY GRIP (Antiperspirant Lotion for hands)
Directions: Apply before or during everyday activities. DRYGRIP keeps your palms dry-even inside gloves-while providing a steady grip! DRYGRIP is non-sticky and works immediately.

Please note. I do not work for this company and whatsoever. I am just copying word for word on the bottle. I do not hold responsibility for anything if happens.:D:D

    stop the sweat !!!!

You can try any rock climbing website, not sure about prices abroad but megagrip is one of the main ones in the uk and it's saved my bones a few times so should work well with badminton rackets !!!!

If not I'm sure something like sure anti perspirant will work fine ?!?!

    Cheers
