I've had some feedback from one poster and was looking for further reviews of the pro-kennex raquets. I used to play with a Pro-Kennex years ago (like 15) - it was a very good, if slightly light raquet (770? something like that) but it was stiff, which suited my game. I'm currently playing with Forza's Super Power 9000s, which haven't been made for a few years now. It's a 3U slight head heavy raquet (which as some people on this board can attest to) produces excellent power. I tried the Forza Kev 3's and Kev 7, but they are too light and whippy for me, so I got rid of them. Anyone here tried to Pro-Kennex raquets and can give me an idea what they think of them? Cheers Vining
I posted a review of the new D-800 here http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=28459&highlight=pro+kennex
Wait for frendies to meet you, or her review on Dynamic 800 (the new stiffer version). I lend her my new D800 when we were in Vancouver, and I think she should be able to post a review.
I believe your review was still based on the "older" D800? Here are the differences between the older (introduced in North America, Sept/Oct 2005?) vs. the new version (introduced in North America, Feb/March 2006): 1. D-800: 85g vs. D-800 new (stiffer version): 81g 2. D-800: stiff (my standard) vs. D-800 new: extra stiff (my standard again)
I don't have much to say. Quite an usable racquet I suppose It seems to me that it's light, even balanced, an all around racquet. I find the shaft stable, ie doesn't vibrate.
