Of the ones I've tried I'd say D-900 for allround.

This question is dependent on the player and his/her style of play.

    Attacking: Woven 11, Woven 7

Best Bang-For-The-Buck: Berlin Passion, Woven 7

    Mobile/Fast: LG-300, Woven 6

    All Around: D-900, Woven 9

    Defense: Woven 8

*points at dink* his the SOTX junkie.
I am personally in love with my woven-8 right now. It does lack some power in smashes, but it's placement and returns are wonderful.

Please do a search. Real briefly:

Woven 6: light weight, good defensive racket.

Woven 7: best bang-for-the-buck attack racket

    Woven 8: great all-around racket

Woven 9: lightweight attack and all-around racket

Woven 11: hardest smashing racket I've tried so far

Woven 16: good all-around racket but very pricey

May I know from the resident SOTX expert (you know who you are ), his opinion between the Diamond Series 6000 and the Woven 11 rackets? Which one is better? Thanks.

Ironic you ask this question now.

I just compared the D-600 and D-900 to the Woven 11 today and the 11 definitely hits harder. The 600 and 900 are not slouches but the 11 is just a flat out bomber's racket. But the 11 is a very demanding racket.

The 600 and 900 are similar, I believe the 600 is stiffer and hits a bit harder but it's hard to discern because I had different strings on both rackets.

I'd say if you want to play it safe, get the 900. If you want an all out brute racket, get the 11. If the 900 is a bit too light and flexible, get the 600.

    Thanks alot.

I'm also looking forward to your Ultimate Ashaway Strings Review. I personally believe ashaway strings are a lot better (and cheaper) than yonex strings.

On the baseline jumpsmash, which one propels the birdie faster? When you said lightweight attack, does it mean light attack? Thanks.

Only tried it very briefly. Seemed similar to the Woven 7.

I meant it was a lighter weight, attacking racket. Normally attacking rackets are heavier.

The 9 hits a bit harder than the 8, for me.

    Default got my hands

Got may hands on the new SOTX "Jedi" rackets and the Light series (I beleive SOTX claims the green one (kant remeber the LG-xxx model number) to be the lightest long racket on earth with its 74g) .

These Light sabers , and light-series are really nice looking, and I really like the feel of the LG ones I tried (3 models)..

I would guess these are not for Dinkalot (he seems to be needing "heavier" artillery).. But I was amazed of the power these very very light ones generated (they where all strung 24x26 with SOTX new CF-66 i think the string is called)..

    Cheers,
    Twoobeer
