Hi... I live in Nandanam and am looking for a partner to play. There is a shuttle court here in a park nearby but i have seen only boys gang playing there. Are there any girls in and around interested in playing daily...

I am new to this forum, I am very interested in playing badminton... I have played a lot when was in my college 2yrs back and got used to play in indoor court.... I stay at velachery, i used to play in besant nagar court which you are talking for just Rs10/hour. paying to the watchman....

Hi, I am from Anna Nagar area. A lot of guys play in Anna Tower Park here too, but very few girls. If its too far, maybe we could play on weekends ?

Hi, I found a place called Transformers gym with 3 indoor courts, near Thiruvanmiyur beach to play badminton. Does anyone here play there? I need to find some regular partners to play in the weekend. The Transformers gym charges 75 bucks per hour, I am not sure if there is any facility of a membership.
I am actually from Pallikaranai, near velachery. So any courts near velachery or Sholinganallur or in OMR will be great.

They charge 60 rs. during weekdays and 75 rs. during weekends. They can maintain the 3 courts a lot better than what they do currently. The cement flooring is very slippery so if you are planning to play get some flat shoes.
I stay at velachery as well and looking for a nice wooden indoor court. I am planning to play only during weekends though, so its ok if the court is in anna nagar... Can someone refer me a good court ? I have been playing for over 5 years in different courts around chennai (mostly cement indoors) and hoping to find a partner with whom i can practice and play at tournaments....

Hi Nishantrayan, Did you manage to find any courts? I know the court in Indira nagar club, but they accept only life time membership which is more than 15K. What time do you play in the weekends? i want to play in the weekends in the evenings, but dont find anyone playing regularly in the Thiruvanmiyur court.

i'm staying in Tambaram sanitorium.After a long search i ve found an indoor court @arasan mahal-chrompet.They are charging 1800/3 months.please tell me if there is any cheap/good near by.
