world's top-ranked MS Lin Dan(China) teams up with the second-seed Xie Xingfang for the mixed doubles... hhhhhmmmm... how will they perform?? will they beat current MX top-seeded Nathan Robertson and Gail Emms??? :)

its great if they will play MX.. absolutely, they will overpower Emms and Robertson.. i think they will have a great playing style and remember.. they are lovers.. they will not have a difficult time adjusting from playing singles to doubles...

Haha, on the contrary my friend. Ever play XD with your spouse of gf. Oh, it's not easy as you think. Sooner than later, the blames will start flying, followed by the icy stares and cold shoulder. Neither party will accept any form of criticism, constructive or not. In the end, this whole beautiful experiment will implode, and they will break up :p

i agree with madbad. i've seen that sort of thing happened in amazing race before :) ...but on 2nd thought, they shouldn't have much problem if they truly understand each other, whether as a couple or XD partners

Just because they are great single's players doesn't mean they will necessarily be great or even good mixed players. Very different strategy.

But of course, I'd like to see this as well. :D

it is easy to make guesses. Robertson/Emms or any XD pros spent years at their XD craft.

    It's a silly question.

I saw them playing XD together for fun during their practices. However only if LYB is not around. Their coordination is good. Maybe in the future... we may see them as a MXD pair.
